What is Reglazing? Why Reglaze? Shouldn't I Just Replace?

Reglazing is an economical alternative to replacement. There are two stages to reglazing. First, the surface must be cleaned with special chemicals that remove the existing paint, dirt, soap scum and rust. If the tub needs any refinishing such as chip repair, rust or bodywork, it will be done before the final stage. Lastly, our reglazing compounds are sprayed onto the surface and after several coats you are left with a glossy tub that looks brand new. All of this is done within a few hours and the tub can be used the next day.

If you were to replace your tub, you would first have to buy a new tub and tear out the old. Tearing out the old tub includes tearing out the floor and wall tiles. You will need to hire a plumber and a tile setter and after parts and labour and a few days, you are looking at spending several thousand dollars.

Reglazing takes a few hours and costs 70-80% less. The final product looks as new as a replacement and you can use it the next day. You save money and time and get great results!
